Privacy Policy
Account Creation - Manual Creation:
Accounts for Client Administrators, Teachers, Instructors, and Students are created manually. The required information is customized to meet the specific Driver’s Education requirements of each state, including any details necessary for issuing student Completion Certificates, where applicable.
Client and Student Data Confidentiality:
To comply with all Federal and State statutes and regulations, COSTECH will not use any client or student confidential or course information for its own purposes or those of any third party, except as expressly permitted under the Client-COSTECH Agreement, the Terms of Service, or as required by law.
Privacy Statement and Data Security:
COSTECH collects user information at various stages of the registration and course process. This information is used solely for the purposes outlined in the Client-COSTECH Agreement, the Terms of Service, or as required by law. COSTECH does not sell or use personal information to promote unrelated products or services.
All registration data is treated as strictly confidential and is used exclusively for the identification and administration of students enrolled in the course. Student personal information is securely encrypted and may only be accessed through the authorized reporting functions of the COSTECH platform.
Access to this information is limited to Administrators or Instructors who have been granted appropriate permissions. Authorized access may be required for specific tasks such as updating personal details, reviewing progress logs and reports, or issuing Completion Certificates, where applicable.
Data and Account Deletion:
State statutes and regulations regarding the retention and deletion of student records vary by jurisdiction. COSTECH maintains student records for the legally required period following course completion, after which they are securely deleted. In cases where the Client is responsible for maintaining their own records, deletion of system records may be requested in writing. This written request must come from an authorized representative of the Client and must specify the nature of the request, the desired date and time for deletion, and any applicable terms or conditions.
